Start a Story is a nonprofit organization
focused on bringing books, literacy skills,
and a love for reading to children across
California who wouldn't normally have access
to books. We strive to give these children a
better future by collecting books to donate, and
even post storytime videos on our YouTube channel!

Hudson founded Start a Story to share his love of reading with the world. He often reads in his free time, when he's not too overloaded with homework.
Keri had a love of reading from a yong age, and she thinks it's a great way to relax! Since she is a physician, Keri loves to give back to the community and help those in need.
Books and reading have always been a very important part of Sue's life. The other part of her life has been very involved with computers, so she is super excited she gets to work with both at Start a Story!
